Sunshine + new metallic pigment = mermaid eyes MOTD.
I’m so loving all the glorious sunshine here in Scotland. So the beauty blogger and makeup artist in me decided to have a little fun with my new Sara Hill Metallic Pigments. I’m a massive fan of wearing bold colours on my lips but I so rarely wear anything fun on my eyes, but I really loved the mix of colours. The pigments are so blend-able which made it easy to mix so many different colours together. Thanks to the sunshine my freckles are coming through, so I used foundation that evened my skin tone without covering up my freckles; Sara Hills Velvet Sheer in Cream Beige. Sadly, I still have circles under my eyes so used Kat Von Ds lock it in concealer ‘light 18’, it’s my current fave! I then used the pigment, pink opal, to highlight my cheek bones, brow bone and cupids bow. All finished off with light summery touches, pink blusher, a Dior glossy lip and brushed brows.
Here’s a little look at the products I used.
If you haven’t checked out Sara Hills range I highly recommend it! The beauty blogger community are loving her whole range! This is the first time I’ve used her pigments and they have great colour density and sit really nicely on the skin. Here are the metallic pigments I used. L-R Lilac Spark, Pink Opal, Garnet, Pewter, Emerald City.
Here is the rest of the face stuff, a mixture of drugstore brands and some of my summer favourites.
Hope this has inspired you to have a little fun with your makeup.
